This community health center near the DC area is seeking an experienced and Board Certified Family or Internal Medicine physician to serve as the Director of Primary Care services. This is a full-time position with responsibilities split between leadership duties (40%) and patient care (60%). The practice includes Family Practice physicians, Pediatricians, Internal Medicine physicians, and Nurse Practitioners. This is a 100% outpatient practice with on-site pharmacy, lab, and x-ray services.

Practice details include:

  • Multi-Specialty Group Employee, Outpatient only
  • M-F, no weekends
  • No Call
  • Paid vacation, sick days , CME
  • Tax deferred retirement plan
  • Salary plus RVU based incentive compensation calculated and paid quarterly
  • Address issues when needed and keeps Chief Medical Officer informed.
  • Guides programs and reviews as necessary to ensure the provision of quality, timely, and compassionate care
  • Clinical lead in ACO performance based incentive programs 
  • Annual CME allotment
  • Paid professional license and DEA fees
  • Professional liability coverage under occurrence based Federal Tort Claims Act
  • Potential for federal or state loan repayment
