About Tennessee

Google Map

Tennessee is one of the ultimate job markets in the country for physicians. Compensation throughout the state is high, particularly in the greater Knoxville area, middle Tennessee, and south into Memphis and Chattanooga. This high compensation rate for physicians is coupled with the 2nd lowest cost of living in the nation. Housing, groceries, transportation- it’s all significantly lower than the US average. Another way to keep more of what you earn is that Tennessee has no state income tax. All of this means that your quality of life will be higher, and student loan debt can be paid off faster, with a move to Tennessee.
