About Florida

Google Map

It’s not just the sunshine that attracts new residents to Florida- it’s also the sunny outlook of the economy and taxes in this popular state for relocation. You’re probably aware that Florida has no state income tax, which combined with no death or estate tax, makes this a popular location for retirees and families alike. The lifestyle options available in Florida are extremely diverse, from the Gulf Coast, to large cities such as Jacksonville and Tallahassee, vacation centered cities such as Orlando, and dozens of charming beach towns up and down both coasts. Florida regularly attracts thousands of relocating citizens per year, which leads to growth and development in housing, education, health care, and business. A large percentage of these are retirees, which is a strong positive for any physician looking for long term career success.
