About Michigan

When you move to Michigan, you get to not only work there, but also PLAY there! Michigan features a wide variety of year round fun: Michigan’s wine country is excellent for a weekend trip, or add on apple or cherry picking for family fun! For those who love the water, you’ll enjoy the fun fact that wherever you are in Michigan, you are never more than 6 miles from a body of water! From boating, fishing, swimming or visiting one of the state’s many historic lighthouses, water recreation is always right around the corner. Michigan does get a snowy winter, but make the best of it by enjoying fantastic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and more. If you want to get out for a while, why not visit another country while staying in the state? Michigan was developed by immigrants, and today that culture is kept alive in several Dutch and German villages dedicated keeping that cultural history alive for visitors and residents alike.
