An independent community health system in Central New York is seeking a BE/BC General Orthopedic Surgeon to replace the current Physician. This full-spectrum opportunity offers a general orthopedics role with a strong focus in total joints, particularly hip procedures with a full OR block schedule, strong referral network, and minimal trauma. Live and work in one of New York’s most scenic and affordable areas and only an hour from an International Airport.

Practice details include:

  • Earning potential $1 million a year as demonstrated by departing Surgeon
  • Advanced surgical technology, including modern instrumentation and a collaborative OR team
  • Base salary for every year: $700,000 with generous WRVU production ($75 per WRVU above 9,525 threshold)
  • $10,000 quality bonus each year
  • Supervision stipend: $1,000/month for APPs
  • Call: 1:8 consult-only; additional call paid
  • 20 PTO days + 6 holidays
  • 4 ORs onsite with surgical cases done in hospital
  • Home to 4 PGA-level golf courses, indoor tennis, vibrant local dining, and skiing in the Adirondacks
